On behalf of the congregation of Coburn Memorial United Methodist Church, I offer greetings.
We strive to "....make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit...." by recognizing Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior and daily seeking a closer relationship with God. We draw closer to God through singing and praying together, studying God's Word and worshipping God as church families, by loving God, and by reaching out to others with loving hearts.
Missions were the center of early church life at Coburn Memorial. Just as those first members did, our current membership is still seeking ways to be in mission to the world.
We cannot be sure what the future will bring for our church, just as we cannot know what tomorrow will bring for us as individuals. Yet, we faithfully continue to serve God with all that we are in communities crying out with desperate voices. Voices belonging to our brothers and sisters who need to know that God's grace is available for all.
We invite you to join us in our mission, as we serve God with a Christ-centered focus. Whether at Coburn Memorial or someplace else, we pray that you will be open to God's calling in your life and find ways to serve God and God's people.
