At Meridian United Methodist Church, we have a vibrant, enthusiastic, and diverse congregation prepared to share the transforming love of God through Jesus Christ with all who come through our doors. Serving the booming, youthful community of Meridian, Idaho, we are the spiritual home for people of all ages, socioeconomic levels, and ethnic backgrounds.
Our average worship attendance increased from 363 in 2008 to 600+ at present. Despite this rapid growth, we have made a commitment to maintaining a small-church atmosphere by offering multiple worship services. Our goal is to make everyone who steps through our doors feel at home on their first visit. As a result, we have become known in our community as the “Church of the Warm Heart”.
While we attract people from a variety of denominational backgrounds, we are particularly excited that God is bringing to our church many people who have never before attended church. They tell us that they find our church to be "user friendly".
We are also definitely kid friendly. We offer programs for children and youth of all ages - from a nursery for infants to an active high school youth group focused on community service. Our interactive, multimedia program in "the Ark" is a hit with the youngsters; once they participate, they are anxious to return.
A significant minority of our congregation is black, Asian, Hispanic, or multiracial, and the diversity of our congregation serves as a drawing card for others who enjoy worship in a multicultural environment. (Among the members of our church are members of several African refugee families who bring to us a tradition of joyous, Spirit-led praise in their worship and their lives.)

About Meridian United Methodist Church
