Jesus speaks to troubled disciples as his departure approaches. The peace he gives belongs within that difficult setting and is deeper than a guarantee of comfortable circumstances.
A short prayer
Jesus, help me receive your peace amid uncertainty. Amen.
Put it into practice
Take a quiet breath and release one worry in prayer.
Take a moment to reflect: what might this look like in your life today?
Scripture is quoted from the World English Bible. Reflections and prayers are devotional commentary from NearMeChurch, separate from the Bible text.
