What does this verse mean?

The psalmist does not deny being afraid. Trust becomes a response made within fear, allowing us to bring vulnerability honestly into our relationship with God.

A short prayer

God, meet me in my fear and help me trust. Amen.

Put it into practice

Name a fear and share it with God in plain words.

Take a moment to reflect: what might this look like in your life today?

Scripture is quoted from the World English Bible. Reflections and prayers are devotional commentary from NearMeChurch, separate from the Bible text.
