Jesus blesses peacemakers as people who resemble their heavenly Father. Making peace can involve difficult truth-telling, repair, and patient work rather than avoiding every disagreement.
A short prayer
Father, help me contribute to honest and lasting peace. Amen.
Put it into practice
Look for a small opportunity to repair a misunderstanding.
Take a moment to reflect: what might this look like in your life today?
Scripture is quoted from the World English Bible. Reflections and prayers are devotional commentary from NearMeChurch, separate from the Bible text.
