James writes to believers facing trials. Wisdom here means learning how to live faithfully under pressure, and asking God is a sign of dependence rather than failure.
A short prayer
Generous God, give me wisdom for what lies ahead. Amen.
Put it into practice
Write down a question you need wisdom to answer.
Take a moment to reflect: what might this look like in your life today?
Scripture is quoted from the World English Bible. Reflections and prayers are devotional commentary from NearMeChurch, separate from the Bible text.
