All are welcome here at Seattle’s First Church! We are a warm and welcoming congregation where you can meet people, celebrate life, grow deeper and stronger, and turn your energy into action that transforms the world. You’re invited to worship with us on Sunday mornings, join a choir, try a small group, or jump right in and help us care for people in need in our neighborhood.

Established in 1853, First United Methodist Church is Seattle’s oldest congregation. In late 2007 we sold our historic building at the corner of Fifth and Marion and our current church building was consecrated in 2010. Our focus as a congregation is simple: Love, Grow, Serve. Those three words describe both our mission as a church and our recipe for joyful living. Dive in - you’ll never be the same.
