Our members volunteer at The Open Door, an ecumenical food shelf and clothing store.
Reaching Out in Mission
Our members also serve on other ecumenical committtees that serve the larger community and help people in time of need.

Hunger
The Open Door is an Ecumenical Ministry of 5 churches in the Danville area. The food shelf and store is open on Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 10am to 3pm. The director of The Open Door is Ollie Wolfson
We are a welcoming congregation . . . come and see!
Music, Arts and Worship
We do not have "official greeters" because the members of congregation take seriously the concept that greeting and welcoming is the responsibility of all.

We participate in an ecumenical VCS wach year, usually in June

This is a Christian Coffeehouse, featuring gues musician "headliners" and open mic, hymn-singing, story-telling, and refreshments
