We are a church community whose worshipers gather for inspiration, to share and receive compassion. Church for us is a verb! Our mission is to Produce disciples of Jesus Christ for God's transformation of the world, Praise God through worship, Provide for one another in God's name, Proclaim God's Good News, and Promote growth in the Spirit. We work together to transform the quality of life for our worshipers and neighborhood, both local and global. We are young, old, middle aged; we are students, families of one or more; above all we are a people of Christian respect, commitment and service. We live in the midst of a Navy station and so, we negotiate hellos and goodbyes quite well. Whether you are searching for a faith community, or passing through, we want you to feel welcomed and at home at Calvary!

Handbell Choir All Ages
Music, Arts and Worship
No experience needed, join us for fellowship and fun as we rehearse handbell music. We play in church as often as we can. Our ringing season runs September - May.
Distribute fresh garden vegetables.
Hunger
God's Community Garden Farm Stands ate located at Calvary United Methodist Church, 200 Turner Rd. Middletown, St. Paul's United Methodist Church, 12 Marlborough Street, Newport and Portsmouth United Methodist Church, 2732 East Main Rd., Portsmouth. They are open one Wednesdays from 10:00-11:30 a.m. Fresh greens are available for all Seniors and those who cannot afford to purchase them at the grocery store.

Choir
Music, Arts and Worship
Adults and youth in Grades 9 and up are invited to join the choir. Rehearsals are on Sunday Mornings at 9:15 a.m.
We plan, serve and converse with guests at Community Meal.

Fun for All
All youth in grades 5-12 are invited to join us for Youth Group. We try to meet twice a month on Sunday evenings from 6-7:30 p.m. We are active in Bible study, Fellowship, Mission & Service.
Sunday Morning Worship 10:30 a.m.
Worship
Music, Prayer, Scripture, Message, and Fellowship in a warm and welcoming environment. Family friendly with nursery care for children under 3 and Children's Time in Worship and Children's Church for those 3 years to 3rd grade.
Community Garden
Reaching Out in Mission
Plant seeds, water, weed, pick, deliver food and vegetables to shelters
Children's Chimes grades 1st-8th grade
Music, Arts and Worship
All children grades 1st - 8th are welcome to join the Children's Chimes. We rehearse on Sundays following the worship service. We play whenever we have a piece prepared. Our schedule is September through June.
