Reaching Out in Mission
We meet weekly around the lunch hour to work on handcrafted projects for our bazaar or our own projects. Bring a sack lunch.
We do not meet in December.
Reaching Out in Mission
Lydia Circle meets once a month on a Wednesday evening, usually the first or second Wednesday, at 7 pm. We discuss topics of interest in areas of mission, social justice, health and well being. Check our church on-line calendar at http://klamathfallsumc.org/events/for meeting days. We do not meet during the summer.
Reaching Out in Mission
Hope Circle meets on the third Tuesday of each month except July and August. Everyone brings a 1/2 sandwich. Hostesses bring a salad and dessert. After lunch one of our members presents a program on mission.
Spiritual Life
We use Cokesbury curriculum to teach our children the stories of the Bible. The class meets in the nursery following the children's message in our worship service.
Music, Arts and Worship
Our choir sings every Sunday throughout the school year. Anyone who loves to sing is welcome.
Spiritual Life
A Bible study for adults that include reading the scriptures and discussion.
Reaching Out in Mission
Our United Methodist Women's Fellowship Gathering is held on the second Thursday of each month except in summer and the month of November. In November we hold our annual bazaar to raise funds for missions. Fellowship Gatherings begin with lunch at noon followed by a program on mission. We then have a short business meeting to finish.
Music, Arts and Worship
Our bell choir plays the prelude about once a month throughout the school year.
Hunger
A free meal for all.
Worship
A weekly worship service of music, prayer, scriptures, and sermon. Communion is served on the first Sunday of each month.
Spiritual Life
A Sunday School class for our youth. The youth choose a book or study. We meet from September thorugh May. We hold two bake sales a year after worship for charities chosen by the youth.
