Meals on Wheels

Hunger

Our church is very active with Southside Meals on Wheels, a group that takes low-cost meals to many in our community. We also provide kitchen helpers for this important minsitry.

CARVE Offering

Hunger

This weekly food drive seeks to carve out hunger one box of cereal, jar of applesauce, bag of rice, or can of vegetables at a time. We wheel a cart into the sanctuary during the offering to represent our work with those in need!

Visitation Ministry

Caring

A group of trained lay people who visit homebound and those unable to attend worship. They bring the body of Christ closer to them!

Knitting/Prayer Shawl Ministry

Fun for All

For people of all skill levels, this group gathers for teaching, fellowship, and creation of prayer shawls for those in need (Alzheimer's patients, caregivers, etc.).

Book Club

Fun for All

This group reads relevant books (bestsellers, fiction, non-fiction, etc.) and discusses them, with a special focus on spiritual connections. A fun group that has many perspectives which make for great conversation.

We have an active group who work and pray for a greener earth. We want to be the best stewards of this world we can possibly be! This group has switched us to fair trade/organic coffee and changed out all our light bulbs...and that's just the beginning!

South Tulsa Community House

Reaching Out in Mission

We partner with South Tulsa Community House to provide a food pantry, clothing pantry, computers for job search and tutoring. Our weekly food drive benefits this important ministry.

We gather for prayer for our world, our church, and other needs each week. All are welcome to join us in devotion and prayer for those in need.

Volunteer Parish Nurses

Health and Wholeness

We have an active group of nurses working to promote health in our community and beyond. They host health fairs, blood drives, screenings, and other educational events. They are even "on call" to answer a variety of health questions.

McClure Mentoring

Reaching Out in Mission

Members of the church spend one hour a week mentoring in the lives of young people at our neighborhood elementary school (McClure). A fun, well-structured program for mentors of all ages and abilities.
