In his work, Piercing the Darkness, Frank Peretti writes what is perhaps the most inspiring line of Christian fiction ever. After struggling under a series of setbacks which seem to come one after another as if there was some kind of cosmic plan designed to systematically bring about their destruction, the citizens of a small community fall back on the one recourse left to them...prayer.

Perhaps you have noticed, as I have, the movement of the Holy Spirit within our congregation. It is as if God has waited for this very moment, for this very cry from His people, and now, within our community of faith, God is moving His sovereign hand!
