Northwest United Methodist Church

Welcome to Northwest UMC! We are the Church on the Hill. We seek to create a culture where lives are transformed. We believe that Jesus invites us all to join him on a journey. Through worship of God and intentional, authentic relationship with others, Jesus inspires us to see him in a whole new light. Transformed by the power and presence of Christ, Jesus sends us to be hope for the world.

When you arrive at Northwest UMC, you will drive up the hill to find parking and our main entrance. There is no dress code; wear what you find comfortable.

We have three different worship services on Sunday morning, each with their own feel:

The 8:15 Chapel Service is simple and casual, while maintaining a traditional structure. This service takes place in the Sanctuary during the colder months, and in our Chapel in the Woods Memorial Day - Labor Day weekends. The Chapel in the Woods is located off the north side of our main parking area.

The 9:30 Traditional Service takes place in our sanctuary and includes hymns and music from our choir (September - May). During this service, there is nursery care and Sunday school year round for children, and classes for youth and adults are held September - May.

The 11:00 Gathering Service is our contemporary worship experience and is held in the Ministry Center. Worship is led by our praise band and the casual set up includes seating in rows and at tables. Nursery care is available during this service, as well as children's worship, called KidZone.

Additionally, on the second Sunday of the month we have Gentle Worship at 11:00 in the Sanctuary. This service is designed for people with special needs and is open to people of all ages. Gentle worship is quiet, with only piano accompaniment.
