Welcome to Grace Union UMC, This congregation has been active and at work in the community since 1887, and we are still growing and changing, learning and being challenged as we seek to spread the message of God’s unconditional love today. We seek to be a warm and welcoming congregation. We care for one another and support each other in our journeys of faith, as we worship and serve together. We have many ministries and programs that make our church what it is – Sunday School for pre-school – Adult, an excellent music program with choir, youth fellowship, Bible studies, and many mission/outreach opportunities, just to name a few. But the most important part of who we are is just that – all the people that make this congregation what it is. Grace Union UMC is a place to learn about being a disciple – a follower of Jesus Christ and his message about God’s grace for all of us. We would love to have you be a part of our church family, and journey with us as we seek to walk with God.

United Methodist Women
Fun for All
We have United Methodist Women that meet throughout the month so that women can celebrate God, enjoy friendships, and find ways to support the mission of our church
Atlantic City Partnership with Asbury UMC
Hunger
The families of our church regularly prepare, deliver and serve meals as part of a covenant with Asbury UMC in Atlantic City. This program on average feeds 150 individuals lunch on the fifth Saturday of each month
HOSPITAL VISITATION
Caring
Our pastor has regular visitations at our local hospitals. The pastor is available to travel to Philadelphia hospitals or other regional care centers on request
Homebound Ministry
Caring
Our church provides Holy Communion, and meals to individuals who are not able to leave their homes on an ongoing basis
50 plus Senior Fellowship
Fun for All
Men and women who are of retirement age come together for lunch, fellowship, and a good program. Of course we build our faith too but we really do enjoy getting together!
NEW MEMBERSHIP CLASSES
Spiritual Life
Individuals from all faith backgrounds have discovered that Grace Union is a good place to call home where good things are always happening. This class helps focus in on the expectations we have of our members giving insight into our traditions & beliefs
Open Doors and Open Hearts for those with Special Needs
Caring
Our church welcomes all individuals including those with special needs such as requiring a wheel chair for mobility
CONFIRMATION CLASSES
Spiritual Life
Confirmation is when believers who are in 8th grade and older study together before being confirmed into the church. It is a time to discover what the United Methodist Church is all about while also celebrating the class members faith in Jesus Christ!
