Fun for All
The Catawba UMC men's group does work projects in the community, supports our church softball team, hosts the annual Easter breakfast and hosts a Christmas party for the congregation. They meet monthly for a program and breakfast.

Hunger
Catawba UMC hosts a nutrition site daily for the Catawba County Department of Social Services. Local senior citizens received a hot meal at the Catawba UMC Family Life Center. Other homebound residents receive meals through the Meals on Wheels program.
Music, Arts and Worship
This southern gospel group presents musical programs free of charge for fundraisers, revivals, residents of long-term care facilities, prisons, banquets and other special events. To schedule this group please call the church or call 828-464-7081.
Spiritual Life
Members of the church pray for needs as they are brought to the attention of the pastor or secretary. Impromtu prayer services are often held in the sanctuary for laying on of hands and anointing with oil.
Fun for All
This active group of senior citizens meets monthly for a program and a covered dish lunch. They also enjoy a monthly outing (varying dates and times).

The women of Catawba UMC support many mission projects including adopting a local school, making prayer shawls, collecting items for care packages for overseas troops, supporting Project AGAPE in Armenia.and presenting a yearly college scholarship.

Reaching Out in Mission
The CCC Team makes yearly mission trips to help elderly and low-income residents of North Carolina make home repairs. The team includes both teens and adults.
Fun for All
The high school youth extremely active. Each year they host a Valentine's banquet for senior citizens and lead several worship services. They raise money though fellowship meals and car washes for an annual beach trip. The youth also usher once a month.
