Green Street United Methodist Church is a vital and vibrant congregation in Augusta, Maine.
If you want to make an impact, you'll want to do it here. The church has a congregation of about 100 active members who give graciously of their time and resources in support of God's work throughout the neighborhood and surrounding communities. We're a regional church in the heart of a city.
Green Street offers a comprehensive menu of worship, bible study, fellowship and volunteer opportunities. We are also enthusiastic supporters of Camp Mechuwana in Winthrop, Maine, holy ground where youth and adults encounter God in community.
United Methodist's mantra "Open Hearts, Open Minds, Open Doors" is alive in the life of the congregation through its people, ministries and activities. Everyone is welcome, bar none. Our spiritual journey together is over a century old and as recent as the next visitor to walk through the door.

Thanksgiving Day Dinner
Fun for All
Green Street offers a free Thanksgiving Day Meal every year. Turkey, mashed postatoes, squash, peas and all the fixings. Anyone wishing to volunteer to work the dinner is encouraged to call the office at 622-0843
