It is the vision of Eastport UMC to have each person engaged in worship that enriches, ministries that empower, and missions that embrace and affirm ALL people.
Since 1887, this congregation has had a dynamic presence int he community and continues to do so today. The lay people who lead this congregation are thoughtful people of faith and dedicated to living with the values of inclusion, justice, compassion, and grace.
It is our hope that as you search for a church home, a community of faith to worship with, a safe and loving place for your children, a great place to come with your partner to meet new people, a handshake, a hug, or a smile, you will find it here. We are a diverse community of people who seek God in hopes of serving our community with as much love as humanly possible, given to us by Christ!
Our community follows the command from John 15:12, "My command is this, Love each other as I have loved you."
