Reaching Out in Mission
Members of the WUMC have had the privilege of spending time with folks at the Henry Whittemore Elementary School in Waltham. Our relationship has enabled us to serve in a variety of ways:
- - Reading to children at the school
- - Preparing snacks for children
- - Donating holiday food packs to families
- - Providing Christmas gifts through an Angel Tree
Bristol Lodge Soup Kitchen
Hunger
Our hungry brothers and sisters come to the Bristol Lodge Soup Kitchen, held daily in the basement of Grace Vision (formerly Immanuel) UMC, at the corner of 545 Moody Street and Cherry Street in Waltham. They are so grateful that GOD and YOU care about them!
WUMC serves dinner the second Monday of every month, providing a hot meal and a friendly face to all those in need.
