Homebound Ministry
Caring
We have a dedicated team of members who visit our congregation in their homes and bring the word of God to them! Our team also brings communion to those who are home bound or in care centers.
Choir
Music, Arts and Worship
Our choir brings wonderful music from all traditions to our service. All are welcome, there are no try-outs and we have such a wonderful time singing praises and bringing music to our congregation and worship.
Rehearsals are at 7pm Wednesdays and 9:30am Sunday mornings
Preschool
Reaching Out in Mission
The Mittineague Methodist Preschool has been in operation for 50 years providing a high quality, affordable preschool opportunity for the families of West Springfield and surrounding communities. The church employs a dedicated staff of professional teachers lead by a highly qualified administrative staff. The school is fully licensed by the state.
Our congregation provides direct help to the preschool through aiding the teachers in the classroom, assisting in special events, and fundraising aimed to keep the costs of the school as affordable as possible.
Food Pantry for the Parish Cupboard
Hunger
We partner with West Springfield's Parish Cupboard by collecting food at our church, by volunteering to serve at the pantry, but doing whatever is needed.
