You're welcome here
We welcome you to Midway United Methodist Church! We are a SAFE SANCTUARY and wheelchair accessible congregation. Our services begin at 10am with Sunday School and worship beginning at 11:00am.
Our congregation is located in the historic Midway Schoolhouse built in the 1800's. Our congregation was formed in 1914 by a faithful group of Methodists who wanted a Methodist presence in their community. They met in their homes for several years until purchasing the current building in 1921. It began as a family church with seven or eight families filling the pews each week.
Our sanctuary is intimate with comfortable seating for 75-80. Average worship attendance each Sunday is approximately 25.
Our worship, lead by Rev. Judith Ransbottom-Stallons, is traditional in style with attention to both the ancient creeds and an eye towards what will draw new believers closer to Christ. We begin each service with a Welcome from our Pastor followed by a centering Call to worship, Affirmation of Faith, Offering, Sermon, and final blessing.
