Our church has sent volunteers to areas that need help & we have also taken up second money collection to send to specific places for specific items needed.

Animal Ministry

Caring

Animals are God;s creatures too & need help like humans. Because of the poor economics, they are given up or just plain starving. They deserve the same rights as humans so we are collecting food & all items they need to help low income families keep them.

Daycare/Preschool which is part of the UMC is one of Waterbury's best with very qualified teacher's & are taught the rights & wrongs of God's world.

We also try to help GWIM by collecting new socks, hats, gloves, mittens & scarfs so they may give the homeless living items that they need to survive the elements outside.

Spiritual Life

Adult Bible Study after worship on Sundays. The pastor has picked appropriate studies to go with the current events of the year & the liturgy.

"Thinking of You" Sunday Cards

Caring

Each week a card is sent to a home bound church person. Cards are also sent to those who are very sick or hospitalized, sympathy cards & birthday cards to those over 90 yrs & holiday cards are sent to all home bound church persons.

Home Bound Communion Service

Caring

The home bound church members receive communion service at the beginning of each month from either the pastor or a church member who has the passion to serve God.
