Reaching Out in Mission
A ministry of the downtown churches housing homeless families for a week in each church providing job and life skills counseling and help, usually results in families returning to own home in under 180 days

A contemporary service, in an informal setting with our praise team, "CrossRoads" providing instrumentals and vocals. Lyrics are posted on jumbo screens at the front of the sanctuary
Reaching Out in Mission
Two trips have been completed bringing proper sanitation into an area where natural water is scarce and no indoor plumbing exists. A third trip is planned for December of 2015.

This is a new worship service launching January 6, 2019. The time for worship will be 5:30pm at FUMC Colorado Springs (420 N. Nevada Ave.) on the second floor north also known as Kingdom City/Children's Ministry. All ages and abilities are welcome.

Starts with Time for Children in Sanctuary then children go to Kingdom City for age appropriate classes that follow a three year rotational format covering most of the major stories in the Bible.

Health and Wholeness
Order of St. Lukes offers a healing service the last Monday of each month in the Lehmberg Chapel of FUMC beginning at 5:30pm
Reaching Out in Mission
FUMC has worked with Lutheran Family Services in assisting a population of refugees from the Liberian/Sierra Leone/Cote d'Ivoire conflicts resettle in the Pikes Peak region with many of these families in regular attendance and membership here.
Spiritual Life
A small chapel with several prayer activities for children, including kneeling bench, a book to write or draw their prayers, a blessing fountain, a ribbon tree

Youth and friends gather each Wednesday to discover what God's word has to say to them, and learn ways to apply that to their culture and daily lives

The preschool offers daily educational programming for 18 months to 5 year olds in Pre-K and Mom's Morning Out Monday through Friday; pre-registration is required.

FUMC ministers as well as a group of volunteers makes sure each hospitalized member is regularly visited while in hospital care

This group of 50+ enjoy trips to various regional sites on either day or multi-night outings, sharing time together while enjoying historic places, geographic wonders, and inspiring national parks

FUMC is the hosting distribution facility for Project Angel Heart a meal donation/delivery service providing pre-made, special diet specific meals to patients with life-threatening illnesses

We have provided a room dedicated to prayer, complete with prayer guides, Scripture passages, meditations, in solitude or small groups, room is large enough to have several people or small groups, yet intimate enough to just experience the presence of God

A ministry to Colorado Springs homeless community cleaning up public lands, parks, church and homeless working together whereby homeless can earn bus passes
