Our youth group programming is on a break for the summer.
Music, Arts and Worship
Monterey UMC Bell choir rehearses on Thursday. The choir plays various times through the year for the church and in ministry at other locations, especially during the holiday season

Following the Time for Children of all ages during Traditional Worship, our youth attend Church School in our Educational Building.

Our UMW meets in fellowship & mission education, & has special mission project. Members have the opportunity of attending the annual School of Missions and special spiritual retreats through the District.

This study is a seasonal study at the moment and works in conjunction with Sunrise Senior Living Community in Monterey, CA There currently is not a study being held please check for updates as to when the next study will begin.

A relaxed time to worship God in a traditional format. We enjoy good music, stories for our kids, prayer for each other and the world, and a scripture based message

Reaching Out in Mission
A music ministry which is provided for the residents of The Park Lane senior living community in Monterey, CA. An hour of singing Hymns which are selected by the residents. Our youth and members join in with the singing as well as having an opportunity to greet and get to know senior members of our community.

Our church has recently established a video website. With some technical glitches, we are still persevering!!!

We will begin this study during the first week of Advent.

Our choir rehearses on Thursdays and sings during the Traditiional Worship Service on Sunday mornings (vacation month is usually July)

At various times throughout the year, the worship on Sunday morning may focus on special concerns, such as the environment, people in public service, the military, etc.

Spiritual Life
We have a dedicated time during worship when written requests for prayers or joys of praise are lifted up and shared. Prayer Concerns are also provided for our monthly Day of Prayer.

Health and Wholeness
Our pastor calls upon the hospitalized members of the church and members of the church also care for each other through visitation, meals and meeting of other needs.
