Our motto "Come, Share, Grow, and Serve" describes the relationship we desire with God and neighbor. We COME to worship each week to SHARE in Christian fellowship and GROW in our faith. A group prepares and serves a meal free to the public the 3rd Saturday January, March, May, July, September and November
Lenten discussion groups
Spiritual Life
Multiple groups meet in homes at varying times to share and reflect on the Lenten themes lifted in worship each week
Prayer Chain
Spiritual Life
A group that responds to requests for intercessory prayer support
Youth Mission Work Camp
Reaching Out in Mission
Each year in June the youth go to a variety of settings to help persons, churches or institutions in need
Chapel Ringer
Music, Arts and Worship
A bell and chime choir experience for beginners and experienced ringers plays for worship every 6 weeks
Cookie Call Welcome Teams
Music, Arts and Worship
Each Sunday the team makes sure each first time guest in worship recieves a plate of home-made cookies at their home by Monday evening as a thanks for coming.

First Church embraces a traditional style of worship with contemporary elements blended in the liturgy to give it a freshness and vitality that speaks to people of all generations in the 21st century. .

Each March a group goes for one week to New Orleans to work with Southeast Louisiana Disaster Recovery rebuilding homes
Senegal Partnership Mission Trip

A group is preparing fo a mission trip to Senegal planned for January, 2011

Adult Sunday School
Worship
We offer a variety of adult classes ranging from Bible study to contemporary discussion groups, following the 9am Sunday service.
Lithuanian Partnership Mission Trip

A group is preparing for a mission trip to the Methodist Church of Lithuania in September, 2010
Voices of Praise Rehearsal
Music, Arts and Worship
A choir that balances community with the love of music rehearses on Wednesadays and sings two anthems for worship twice a month
Familty Fellowship
Fun for All
Every other month families gather for food, fun, games, and conversation
Pastor's Bible Study

This is an open class led by the pastor. Each week is a new experience, so drop-ins are appropriate.
Pastors Survey of the Bible
Spiritual Life
Beginning in January the pastors will lead 8-week surveys of the Old and New Testaments using the Disciple Bible resources
Casual Service
Worship
Our casual service offers lively songs and interactive sermons that will hold the interest of young people while also bringing a meaningful message to adults.

Our kids ministry takes place following the 9am Sunday service. We have a wonderful children's ministry team that will lead your kids in a time of fun and learning..
