Caring
Residents of the Maine Veterans' Home gather in the chapel at Down East Community Hospital for a time of singing, sharing, and prayer led by Pastor Patti Sears
Spiritual Life
We make knitted and crocheted prayer shawls for those going through a difficult time in life, or celebrating a special event. We also provide knitted prayer patches to the local hospital to be given to those who need healing in body, mind or spirit.
Music, Arts and Worship
All are welcome to join in singing with our choir. Rehearsals are just before and/or just after church. Choir director is Mrs. Bonnie Atkinson
Fun for All
We meet at the church for coffee, conversation, working on prayer shawls, prayer, and.... Then we go out to lunch together at local restaurants, alternating sites each week
Music, Arts and Worship
Our drama group is under the direction of Mr. Skip Cole. The group performs brief skits during worship as well as dramatic presentations for holdiays both in the church and in the community.

A great after school program for children in PreK through Grade 6
Caring
We have an ongoing prayer shawl ministry that has provided shawls for folks as far away as Texas and West Virginia. All shawls are hand made by members of our ministry team.
