Welcome to Carter Memorial United Methodist Church in Needham, MA. We are an open and affirming congregation, believing that "God Loves All People." Our vision/mission statement is "Seek, Share, Serve."
During the fall season our church lawn is filled with pumpkins. Funds collected from the Pumpkin Patch support our mission programs both far and near. And like our pumpkins, our congregation comes in many shapes and sizes from Needham and the surrounding area.
Our Sunday program includes opportunities for Sunday school classes for our youngest to our senior members, followed by worship in a traditional New England sanctuary that includes wheelchair accessible pews and large print hymnals & bulletins available to those who need them. The spirit of Jesus Christ is alive and well in Needham. Please join us.

Knitting Group

Chancel Choir
Music, Arts and Worship
This is the choir practice time for the Chancel Choir. Under the direction of Dr. Mildred Beane, the choir sings a wide variety of religious music and sings from September through June.
Youth Group
Fun for All
Youth Group meets on occasional Sundays and various other times for activities such as apple picking, local missions, amusement parks.

Every month 30 volunteers contribute to a meal for Rosie's Place, a shelter for poor and homeless women in Boston, Massachusettsx

Bell Choir

Under the direction of Dr. Mildred Beane, the Bell Choir practices most Sundays after the worship service and performs at least once a month in services.
Habitat for Humanity

Carter Church has helped spearhead and is helping build a Habitat for Humanity home in Needham, MA
