Welcome, and thanks for your interest in Mt Zion United Methodist in the beautiful community of Smarr, just outside of Forsyth, GA. Our mission is to grow Disciples of Jesus Christ through Study, Service, Shepherding and Synergy of Fellowship. Just as Christ cared about the people in his community, we care deeply about the needs of people in our community. That belief shapes everything we do, from our worship on Sunday mornings to our offering of free recreational facilities to the community and our involvement in Relay for Life to raise money to fight cancer. We find that when we express God’s love in the community around us, we experience God’s love in a deeper way. That experience binds us together as a body.
