Our congregation supports the work of the United Methodist Social Services, and in particular the respite care and support for those struggling with Alzheimer's and other age-related illnesses. It is located at Bishop First UMC.

Visiting the Home-bound

Pastor Erin and other lay people visit and offer encouragement to our friends who are home-bound.

Communion at Southern Inyo Hospital

Caring

Pastor Erin and numerous lay people travel to Lone Pine to share in a time of worship and communion with our friends who live at the Skilled Nursing Facility. The carpool leaves the church at 10 am. Call the church for more info.

Communion at Home

Caring

For those who are unable to come to worship, Pastor Erin is available to bring communion to their home.

USDA surplus food distribution

Hunger

We drop off fresh produce from "The Bunny Patch" at the local distribution center, at Sierra Baptist Church. The distribution begins at 9:30am.

Visiting Nursing Homes

Caring

Pastor Erin and other lay people take time to visit and share encouragement with our friends who live in nursing homes or assisted living facilities.
