Our Our congregation purchases hundreds of school supplies to be given out to students in poverty area schools in Bakersfield. The supplies are assembled into kits for the students and given to their teacher (member of our congregation) to distribute.

We work with LOVE, INC for referrals of clients needing food on a short-term basis. We keep a stocked pantry of staples for families needing extra assistance. Our congregation generously donates food and money to fund this program.

Good News Club at Harris Elementary

Good News Club is an afterschool program where underprivileged kids are loved and shown Jesus' love through Bible stories, games and activities.

Liz Kidz Book Drive

in May, a book drive is organized so that these students can receive a new book to read over the summer. Many of these students have never owned their own book before.
