Come home to Oakland at Holland. We have accepted God's invitation to partner with God in God's mission in the world of going out to make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world. That decision to accept God's invitation shapes everything we do from worship on Sunday mornings to our prayer shawl ministry. Oakland is a family of Christians with a rich Wesleyan heritage and tradition. We are dedicated to the Holy Trinity and in being Christ in the world. We strive to maintain a family culture in a world where so many feel alone. We have a true concern for the community, for those lost from Christ, and those without a church home. We hope you'll visit Oakland and experience it for yourself. We'll be right here, where we've been since 1849 - in Holland.

Prayer Shawl Ministry
Caring
This ministry is accomplished by individuals in their own homes at the present time. We are open to meeting at homes or at the church as a group if anyone would prefer that fellowship. We are open to suggestions and additional members to the ministiry.
Fire Bucket

Our congregation supplies a bucket of items that someone would need within the first 24 hours of having a residential fire.

Each month our congregation brings designated items for that month to collect for the United Methodist Church annual Ingathering November of each year.

Donations are made to help following natural disasters.
Holland Fire Department Appreciation

Our congregation supplies beverages to the Holland Volunteer Fire Department.
School supplies are collected for the Holland children
Reaching Out in Mission
This mission is done before school starts in August and again in January to help the underprivileged children in the Holland area.
