One of our biggest yearly projects is the Children’s Christmas Store, which allows children from Joseph to buy Christmas presents for their family and friends at a very affordable amount. We also have monthly education programs, opportunities for leadership development, and great fellowship. Our local unit meets on the third Thursday of the month at 1:00 pm (except in July and August). “United Methodist Women shall be a community of women whose purpose is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative, supportive fellowship; and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church.” We do that by equiping leaders, organizing for growth, educating to transform, serving & advocating, fostering spiritual growth. On Sunday mornings at 9:00 am, we have adult Sunday School. Children's Sunday School gathers during the worship service at 10:00 am. We also have both short term and long term gatherings through the week.
