Dinner Preparation for Bread & RosesHungerWhenever there is a 5th Saturday in a month, typically 4 times a year, church volunteers prepare the evening meal at the Bread & Roses soup kitchen in Lawrence. The children’s choir sings about once a month during the school year.Backpack and School Supply Collection for United Methodist Economic MinistryReaching Out in MissionDuring the summer months, we collect backpacks and school supplies for the United Methodist Economic Ministry in Salem, ME. These supplies are distributed to families in need in western Maine communities.  Neighbors In NeedHungerFood donations for Neighbors In Need are collected throughout the year. Please place non-perishable items in the shopping cart inside the front door of the church. Neighbors In Need operates 11 food pantries in Greater Lawrence. MAPA (Mision A Paraiso Ahora - Mission in Paraiso, Now)Reaching Out in MissionMAPA is a mission group which works in mutual ministry with Iglesia Evangelica Dominicana in Paraiso, Dominican Republic. MAPA helps to support a church-run school for the children of Paraiso.Adult ChoirMusic, Arts and WorshipThe Adult Choir practices on Thursday evenings and sings every Sunday morning from September to June. The choir typically performs traditional choral works and selections from the United Methodist Hymnal. New members are always welcome!Tuesday Evening Bible StudySpiritual LifeThe Tuesday evening Bible Study meets weekly for a potluck dinner and discussion.
